Christine Ortaliz is an Ayurvedic nutrition and dietetics therapist and Ayurvedic massage therapist in Nyon. RME-certified, she sees clients at L’essencce for Ayurvedic nutrition consultations, therapeutic massages, and Ayurvedic treatments, as well as personalized support incorporating the principles of Ayurveda and yoga.

Trained in the United States, she is certified as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor (California College of Ayurveda, 2017) and an Ayurvedic Practitioner (Academy of Ayurvedic Medicine, Southern California University of Health Sciences, 2020). She is recognized as an RME in her disciplines and is a member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA). She also holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

International Experience in Ayurveda and Yoga

Christine lived for five years in a traditional ashram, deepening her practice of yoga and Ayurveda. She has led yoga and Ayurveda workshops and worked as a therapist at Panchakarma retreats in the United States, Taiwan, and Vietnam with the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers.

Her experience at a high-end Ayurvedic spa in Los Angeles has also helped her develop a mindful and personalized approach to Ayurvedic body care.

Christine Ortaliz works in collaboration with Vaidya Yogeet Kapoor, a federally certified naturopath in Ayurvedic medicine, at L’essencce—Ayurvedic Medicine Center in Nyon.

In addition to her own consultations in Ayurvedic nutrition and dietetics and her Ayurvedic massages, Christine also provides support, within her area of expertise, to patients under Yogeet Kapoor’s care. In particular, she can provide Ayurvedic body treatments, massages, nutrition guidance, and lifestyle recommendations, based on the needs identified during the patient’s care plan.
