Together with Ksenia Mischler, an FMH-certified specialist in angiology and phlebology with a focus on vascular sonography and edema consultations, we provide you with personalized care—in German, English, and Russian.

Every evaluation is based on modern ultrasound diagnostics (duplex sonography) of the arteries and veins, supplemented by a detailed personal consultation.

In the arterial domain, we diagnose circulatory disorders, hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis), peripheral arterial disease (PAD, also known as “window-shop disease”), aneurysms, Raynaud’s phenomenon, and vascular inflammation (vasculitis). We offer stroke prevention services focused on the carotid artery and advise you on your personal cardiovascular risk.

In the venous field, we treat varicose veins and spider veins, chronic venous insufficiency, thrombosis, and phlebitis—using modern, minimally invasive procedures such as sclerotherapy and endovenous laser therapy. For heavy legs, swelling, and lymphedema and lipedema, we tailor treatment to each individual, including advice on compression therapy.

A particular area of focus is men’s health (andrology): specialized vascular diagnostics for erectile dysfunction, as well as the evaluation and treatment of testosterone deficiency. Dr. Gutwein conducts research and publishes internationally on this topic and has been honored with the Swiss Angiology Award.
