### Presentation of the healthcare professional
Dr Zied Zaghdoudi is an FMH specialist in anaesthesiology and has been practising as Chief Physician of the Anaesthesia Department at the Ensemble hospitalier de la Côte (EHC) since January 2023. He accompanies patients throughout their surgical journey, ensuring appropriate anesthetic care and specialized monitoring before, during and after surgery.
With a wealth of experience acquired in Switzerland and abroad, he has held various levels of responsibility within several hospitals. He is particularly familiar with the EHC, where he previously worked as an assistant physician and then head of clinic before being appointed senior physician.
Holder of the Swiss FMH title in anesthesiology and the European Diploma in Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Dr. Zaghdoudi has extensive expertise in the various fields of modern anesthesia. In recent years, he has specialized in the anesthetic management of the elderly, obtaining a university diploma in anesthesia-intensive care for the elderly from the University of Bordeaux.
He also contributed to the development of ultrasound-guided locoregional anesthesia at Morges Hospital. In certain situations, this approach can optimize pain management while promoting appropriate post-operative recovery. His work is part of a modern approach to perioperative medicine, focused on patient safety and comfort.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Zaghdoudi is involved in medical research, and is the author of several scientific publications. He is also a member of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care.
