Methods

TCM has various therapeutic methods. The best known are acupuncture and herbal therapy. A diagnosis based on TCM is an important prerequisite for the application of each method.

What is TCM?

TCM is a holistic medical system that is thousands of years old and is based on the observation of nature and the vital functions of the body. According to TCM, health depends on the balance of the opposing forces of yin and yang, which are harmonized through therapeutic treatments.

Diagnosis

TCM has a very differentiated diagnostic procedure to assess the condition of Qi, Yin and Yang as well as the internal organs. Traditionally, TCM combines four examination methods for diagnosis.
