Elyse Fogel

After earning a university degree in biology and psychology in 2000, Elyse quickly turned toward alternative medicine. She began her training in therapeutic massage in 2002, followed by a specialisation in aromatherapy in 2004.

Her travels to Asia sparked an interest in the principles of East Asian medicine. She decided to pursue studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine, earning a bachelor’s degree from Middlesex University in London in 2009, then a master’s degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the University of Westminster in 2010 while beginning her clinical practice.

In 2011, she received a scholarship that took her to Taiwan, where she completed an intensive Mandarin program at the National Taiwan University in Taipei, along with clinical internships over a 18-month period. She further deepened her clinical experience with hospital placements in China in 2008 and 2013.

Based in Switzerland since 2013, Elyse opened her first practice in Fribourg before settling in Châtel-St-Denis.

Convinced of the body’s innate capacity to heal itself, she offers personalized treatments tailored to each individual’s specific needs, encouraging an active and mindful approach to the healing process.

Elyse is fluent in French, English, and Mandarin.
