Er betreut erwachsene und ältere Patienten, die unter chronischen Schmerzen, insbesondere chronischen Rückenschmerzen, sowie unter chronischer Müdigkeit und orthopädischen Problemen leiden. Seine Behandlung stützt sich auf drei Säulen: therapeutische Aufklärung, die schrittweise Wiederaufnahme körperlicher Aktivität und eine vertrauensvolle Beziehung, die sich im Laufe der Zeit entwickelt. Er passt jede Sitzung an den aktuellen Tageszustand des Patienten an, ohne dabei das gemeinsam festgelegte Ziel aus den Augen zu verlieren. Die Kommunikation nimmt in seinem Ansatz einen zentralen Platz ein: Das Verständnis der Schmerzen und der Mechanismen, die diese aufrechterhalten, ist Teil der Behandlung. Der gut ausgestattete Fitnessbereich des Zentrums ermöglicht es ihm, aktive Übungen zu integrieren, sobald es die Situation zulässt. Alain Stransky widmete seine Masterarbeit dem Thema chronische Lumbalgie. Darüber hinaus hat er sich in den Bereichen Umgang mit chronischer Erschöpfung – einschliesslich anhaltender Post-COVID-Symptome –, motivierende Gesprächsführung und Animal Flow weitergebildet. Er bietet Sprechstunden auf Französisch und Englisch an. Das Zentrum befindet sich am Chemin des Lentillières 1a im Gebäude „Square Santé“ im Stadtteil Oasis und verfügt über kostenlose Parkplätze sowie eine gute Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr.
