Valentin Lupi ist diplomierter Physiotherapeut und arbeitete sechs Jahre lang am CHUV, hauptsächlich in der Neurologie, wo er eine solide Erfahrung in der Behandlung von Patienten mit Erkrankungen des zentralen und peripheren Nervensystems entwickelt hat.
In seiner Praxis und zu Hause betreut er Menschen mit neurologischen Störungen, Rückenschmerzen (Lumbalgie, Zervikalgie, Bandscheibenvorfall), Gelenk- und Muskelschmerzen, Bewegungsstörungen, chronischen Schmerzen oder Schmerzen, die eine Rehabilitation nach einer Operation erfordern. Sein besonderes Interesse gilt der muskuloskelettalen Physiotherapie und der Suche nach konkreten Lösungen zur Linderung der Beschwerden der Patienten und zur Verbesserung ihrer täglichen Funktionsfähigkeit.
Er hat sich in verschiedenen therapeutischen Ansätzen, insbesondere der propriozeptiven neuromuskulären Fazilitation (PNF) und der Cranio-Sacral-Therapie, weitergebildet und nimmt regelmässig an Fortbildungen teil, um seine Praxis auf der Grundlage aktueller wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse aufrechtzuerhalten.
Er bevorzugt einen ganzheitlichen, aktiven und individualisierten Ansatz, der therapeutische Übungen und Patientenschulung umfasst. Für ihn ist die Behandlung eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen Therapeut und Patient, die auf dauerhafte funktionelle Ziele ausgerichtet ist.
